April 2, 201214 yr In a week or so I will be off to the states for the first time to visit New York for a couple of days. Was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect from the flight? So far I have gathered that it will be an British Airways (Operated By American Airlines) 757-200. I am slightly confused about what level of entertainment will be available since AA's website says that personal entertainment devices are in all classes for international flights however the 757 does not have this. Also what will the seats will be like and will it be worth asking for an upgrade on the return flight since it will be overnight? All I can say is I am defiantly looking forward to seeing New York and some American aviation traffic. April 2, 201214 yr My wife just flew more or less the same trip last week. She got back yesterday. She said the seats were a not the most spacious, but otherwise it was okay, there were screens on all the seat backs with movies. Apparently she watched that one with Clooney which robbed at the Oscars. The Descedants is it? something like that. Be sure to wave as you come over my house. April 2, 201214 yr Seatback entertainment in Economy is only on the 777 aircraft. The 757 does not have it but it does have powerpoints, so you can bring your own device and plug it in. Check this page on the website: http://www.aa.com/in...oard/yclass.jsp I do like 757's so this may be the last chance for you to fly one over the Atlantic before 787's eventually start to replace them. The 787's will be around for a very long time and the 757's won't Cheers Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
April 3, 201214 yr Author Hmm lot of conflicting reviews and seatguru does not help much. I think in any case I will be sure to stock up my Ipad with some films that way even if there is seat back entertainment I can have a pick of the best. April 4, 201214 yr Punch your flight number on this webpage to find out: http://www.aawifiwidget.com/ I don't think it does because the page states; Internet connectivity is now available on all Boeing 767-200 aircraft and select MD80 and 737 aircraft Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

April 4, 201214 yr Also you usually don't get WiFi unless you are close to the coast, unless AA has satellite internet. Chris Miller
