April 3, 201214 yr Before I purchase the Carenado PA-46T, I was curious if only having the GNS430 would work fine with the plane. Is there a way to integrate a dual 430 setup into the panel since I don't have the 530? Would it be worth the $40 to fly it with only the GNS430? Thanks in advance, Alex
April 3, 201214 yr You would end up with an empty spot in the panel... Two 430s do not fit, and for two 430s to work, you would need the RXP Unlimited package. A GNS430 would work - but look a bit strange. Maybe better to wait for the C90 which does work with a single 430. Bert
April 4, 201214 yr I really strongly recommend you to get the GNS 530 and the Unlimited Expansion from Reality XP in the future! It is worth every cent, and if you are seriously into GA simming, the joy of having all the possibilities, will last for years! ;-) I had the GNS 530 for a long time. But when I bought the Malibu, which I really love, I got myself the GNS 430 and the Unlimited expansion. And I have to say, the only thing I regret is that haven't bought it earlier! ;-)

I get much better framerates with the RXP GNS versions than with the default GNS .... it saves a lot of CPU power also! Best regards,
April 10, 201214 yr I'm also thinking about getting the GNS 430 since I have the GNS 530 and love it. I have two questions. I'm using widescreen mode 5900(something) X 1080, and I cannot resize the default 430. I can resize GNS 530 no problem. Does anybody know how to do this? I'm assuming the GNS 430 will not have this problem. Next question, Can I intergrate the GNS Audio Panel and GXP into the Piper? Thanks, Ray P.s. Yet another question...would it be worth while to purchase the unlimited pack if one has the GNS 530 and Wx500. At this point all I want is the GNS 430 inside my plane.
April 10, 201214 yr Sorry guys can someone explain I bought the gns430/530 by RXP, can someone explain what the unlimited version does and why is it different to the dual pack. Also how do I fit the gns 530 into the actual panel of aircraft rather than being a pop up? Sorry to hijack apologies Wayne. http://fs2crew.com/banners/Banner_FS2Crew_MJC_Supporter.png Wayne HART
April 11, 201214 yr Wayne, Read the Carenda's Mailbu documentation. There's a section for importing/docking the Reality XP GNS 530/430 so they are not pop-ups. It's an executable in one of the folders you'll need to run. Doc's has it's location. Check out this thread:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/368920-car-xp-malibu/ Also, From what I gather about the unlimited pack is that it allows one to do 430+430 or 530+530 or 530+430 combinations. Also, you get TCAD and cross fill between 430+530 units. i.e. Flight plan keyed into one is automatically keyed into the other. I hope just the 430+530 standalones do this, if not then I'll be purchasing the unlimited. Does anybody know this answer? Feel free to read more...http://reality-xp.co...ited/index.html Thanks, Ray
April 12, 201214 yr cheers guys i returned the RXP 49.95 version and got a refund, time to buy unlimited pack, thanks flight 1 refund policy woohoo.!!! http://fs2crew.com/banners/Banner_FS2Crew_MJC_Supporter.png Wayne HART
April 12, 201214 yr Hi Guys do I just purchase the GNS WAAS UNLIMITED for $99.95 or do i need the $49.95 gnsXP 430/530 aswell? http://fs2crew.com/banners/Banner_FS2Crew_MJC_Supporter.png Wayne HART
April 12, 201214 yr Hi, to have them work together (430 & 530) and coupled with all the features, you need to have the 430, 530 and the unlimited pack. Not inexpensive, but well worth every cent, and an "invest" you won't regret. At least if you are seriously into GA flightsimming. I bought the 430 and unlimited pack recently after having the 530 for years, and the only thing I regret, like already stated above, is, that I haven't bought it earlier. The Malibu with RXP 530/430 setup is an ultra immersive experience! Greets, Michael
