April 11, 201214 yr Hello, I am trying to get the three Display units in the 2D panel of the NGX zoomed in or enlarged as what we were doing in the FS9 737 by one button press but it seems that it's not available here. I am aware that pressing on the ND/PFD/ED units will open a zoomed-in view out and above it's position but this view for all DU's in the same time will block part of the windshield. I am new to 737NGX, please advise if there is anyway to enlarge the DU's in their positions similar to FS9 737 and MD11. I am using a 32" wide screen. Though, the texts and objects in the Display units are small and hard to read without zooming. Any comments on this issue will be highly appreciated. BR Tareq
April 11, 201214 yr Tareq- I'm not sure I understand your question correctly, however, I have clicked on each DU- then dragged it to where I'd like (I habitually fly manual SIDs and STARS with the PFD and ND enlarged) and then saved a flight (with all else set correctly as I'd like as well). That way I just load that flight- pick my airport/stand- and I'm good to go. The windows pop up in the same place/size each time thereafter. I don't have the foggiest idea about popping them all up with one key press...... Best- Carl Avari-Cooper
April 11, 201214 yr Author lasnubes, Thank you for your reply and sorry for not explaining the problem perfectly. If you look at the picture below you can see this FS9 PMDG 737 and all DU's are fully enlarged in their places all the way to the MCP (By pressing the Z at the lower left corner of the Panel). My question : Is there anyway to do this in the NGX? BR Tareq
April 11, 201214 yr That's the 2D panel. You can also do that in NGX, presssing shift+2 (correct me if I'm wrong). But my question is: Why do you want to do that ?...if you can enjoy one of the best 3D cockpits in the World of Simulation? El AeropayoPaco GALINDO
April 11, 201214 yr Because he want to use 2d panels. @Tareq, You cannot do that in NGX with one click (like in FS9 737), clikc all 3 displays and drag it like you want, thats the only way.
