Carenado Seneca coming to X-Plane!

Recommended Posts

Good news, finally a twin from Carenado coming to X-Plane. Is in the incoming projects at Carenado's site.

Looking forward to it.

I emailed them asking about the Arrow and they said the Arrow will be coming to X-plane also but no estimate of time yet.

I'd like to see the new Turbine KingAir in my X-Plane Hanger.

Yes, a twin engine would be cool.

In case you missed it, here's a very nice twin, looks and flies great. No problems at all in XPX.

I have no affiliation with this product, just a satisfied end user.

That Duchess is a great add-on also, just waiting a major XP10 update for it.

Even without the v10 update it flies great. Just doesn't appear to have full throttle, looking at the manifold pressure, but there is still plenty of power!!

I see the Carenado Seneca V panel looks quite similar to their Archer III panel. Setup for twin engines of course.

since I have every Carenado made, (except the V tail Bonanza), I guess I will have to get this one.

Yes, it seems nice but it also seems that they still inserted the default XP GNS430 GPS, very limited.

Luckily one Carenado developer announced that they are working on a fully functional G1000, and they hope to upgrade in the future also the lesser models. It would be nice, because it would raise the quality level of the GPS to the other elements of their cockpits and planes.

But for now I'm happy with the Seneca V by Jason Chandler.

I suppose the Chandler planes were good for their day................but the graphic artwork of the interior & exterior, doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. The Dreamfleet

Pipers for MSFS in 2002/2004 were much better in the art department. I'm 50/50 in regards to visual appearance & flight modeling. I do regard Carenado as one of the best, when it comes to the visual aspects of an airplane model.
