Radio problem

Featured Replies

strange thing this morning. I was ready for push back and taxi at KMEM. The only ATC was ground. So I called for pushback. several times he responded by text saying he could hear me but I could not hear him. After the flight I looked for another controller and LAX was up so I placed the 737 at KLAX called the center and ask for a radio check. I saw the yellow response light up but no sound. This all happened before loading version 1.2. Everything had been working great until today. Can any of the CFG sound settings in SF2CREW effect my ability to hear radio responses?

Any help is appreciated,

Cheers,

Don

I don't think FS2Crew has the ability to affect Squawkbox of FSINN communications. Bryan would be better able to tell you, but maybe try again, make sure the audio settings in the ATC client are setup right.

Thanks for the response. I got it working by sending all my audio to the USB headset. Checked in with houston tower and they gave me a 5x5 . So i'm good even if I don't hear any of the fs2crew on the speakers,

Don

So it's the FS2Crew audio that's wonky ? What's your audio device in the FS2Crew config panel ?

Damien,

On the FS2CREW CFG I have speakers (2-c media USB) ) selected and HS (on)

My default audio setup is speakers (2-c media USB) this routes the audio to my USB headset. As soon as I select my speakers (Realtek high definition ) as the default audio setting I lose contact with ATC.

I am sure I have my audio settings wrong. if I select the speakers as my default on the audio panel (the little speaker icon) everything works correctly on FS2CREW but I loose commo with ATC

I fly Vatsim and have over 900 hours with the 737NGX. So I have to be hooked up to the controllers. I will fly with the headset only if that is what it takes. I love FS2CREW

Cheers,

Don

FIXED IT
