Fullscreen undocked panels

Hey,

Can someone confirm that the NGX allows 2d panels to be displayed on additional monitors while the main vc is run in fullscreen (not windowed)

Cheers

Hi,

I confirm. I have the PFD/MFD and engine information on my second monitor and I'm in full screen. Works perfectly, no FPS loss. Note that I don't undock the instrument window, I just click on the instrument to have it maximized then move it on my second screen.

Thanks Fabrice, someone else also confirmed this on the main PMDG forum.

Cheers

Yes it works, just keep in mind that there is no 2D throttle panel or radio panel.

It works? I couldn't get it to work unless both monitors were in windowed mode - which dramatically reduces my FPS. How did you set up your monitors? This is for W7 (32) with a GeForce GT240 with HDMI. DIVX and VGA outputs. My PC also has an onboard graphics card but I think it is disabled by the presence of the GT 240 (or any other card). My main monitor is a 24 inch Samsung at 1900 x 1080, alternative is an LG 19 inch at 1400 x 900.

Any advise would be most welcome!

Hi Drew,

I just have my second monitor set with extended desktop. I have Win 7 64, but I guess it should also work on 32.
