on my approach to SUX via NBD to RWY 35 there were some low level clouds and as I made my way to the rwy the cloud deck began to lower, slowly...and as you can see my tail began to show, then the rest of the plane simply and slowly began to emerge from the clouds. The last one covers the rollout...

Too bad you can't attach .wav files here...I'd love the theme of Jaws to play whenever I viewed this post...I'd be the icing on the cake! :LMAO:

 

I actually had a similar experience on a recent real flight here to DFW but while climbing. It was overcast and we came out of the layer and seemed to skim just above it for a while...really gave you the sensation of speed. :biggrin:
