April 20, 201214 yr Not strictly an FS2Crew support question, but I was hoping Damien could answer this for me. While departing in the NGX, if I have three altitude constraints in the SID say 4000ft, 5000ft and 6000ft, but straight after takeoff ATC instructs me to climb to FL180 before reaching the first altitude constraint - how do I accomplish this during a VNAV climb. My initial view is select 18000 in the MCP then press the Altitude Intervention button three times, but this feels very clumsy. Is the a better way used in the RW Glen Glen

April 20, 201214 yr Author Many thanks Damien Problem occured while using Radar Contact, just after takeoff while flying a SID out of Gatwick I was told to climb to FL120, bypassing at least two altitude restrictions. Thanks for clearing things up. Glen Glen
April 20, 201214 yr Hi all, if my memory serves me correctly, in some countries an ATC "climb to..." instruction replaces SID altitude constraints and in some others not. Be careful. Anyway, no problems with RC . Alessandro Panzacchi
