April 26, 201214 yr Hello, I have seen this for years - what causes scenery items and aircraft to "jump" up and down at airports? It happens a lot and it seems to bother a few of my FSX aircraft like my Vans RV7. The items always come to rest again but I cannot figure out what is causing this. Thanks in advance, Ron Sagel
April 27, 201214 yr Me and my friend seemed to get this when we had just flight's traffic x installed. It would happen randomly at different airports. It is a bit weird because like the whole fleet at the airport will jump up and down at the same time, it's looks funny yet annoying . I don't seem to get this anymore since I upgraded my ai traffic to my traffic x recently . It's a lot more reliastix and more detailed than just flights version. Do you have a third party ai add on installed ?
April 27, 201214 yr My aircraft often get the hiccups when I cycle through an external camera and back to the VC again...annoying but usually harmless. I always figured it was just another loveable and unavoidable foible of a rather venerable application absolutely creaking at the seams with add-ons and mods. ...Can't say I have ever noticed the scenery or ground objects following suit though! Cheers! Iain
April 27, 201214 yr Commercial Member You should check if lowering your mesh resolution helps. I temporarily set mesh resolution from settings to near full, which caused that kind of behavior all time when I changed view. Then I lowered it back to 10 and have this kind of behavior very rarely, mainly when I change to AI traffic view.
