I got a feature Request.

is it possible adding in the Product that during the Decent briefing or approach checklist (whenever is best suited), the FO would read my approach RW / Approach method set in the FMC (e.g. ILS/RNAV/NDB/VORDME,etc), or even based on the Briefing it self, whatever is easier.

and reference the details with the AIRAC Installed or the AFCAD (whatever works best) and set the Radio/course for the ILS,RNAV,etc?

this could be done as an optional with the "Secondary command" (like the Push back options), hence one can use it or not to his discretion.

 

in away the same way in PMDG747-400 , if I would pick an ILS RW26 in the FMC (DEP/APP) for an example , it would fill in the details in the RAD/NAV in the FMC.

It's a good idea, but not technically possible.

 

The PMDG SDK doesn't allow for that.
