Photos Of LGA Runway Approach And Landing Taken 30 Years Ago

If you have time, you will find more L1011 screenshots in my past screenshot posts here. Also, I am using FSX meaning that superb freeware Vistaliners L-1011 can work in FSX!!! If you prefer payware, Aerosim L-1011s can work in FSX too as I have seen other people's screenshots showing Aerosim L-1011s in FSX flights!!

Hi Aharon,

I did have Aerosim L-1011 in FS9 and transported to FSX years ago, but if I remember there were a few texture areas that left holes in part of the plane. I beleive I was able to get the cockpit and guages to work ok. Everytime I see one of those L1011 pics I keep telling myself I ought to try and port the Aerosoft 1011 over one more time.Back in those days I was able to fly in mostly Delta L1011s. All I need to do is find the old files..

thanks

Carl

Carl,

No problem!! Good luck with your attempt to find old files and fly your Aerosim L-1011s!!! From what I saw other people posting FSX screenshots of their Aerosim L-1011s, there was no indication of livery or texture problem. You should check out Aerosim L-1011's PSA livery. It looks amazing with super shiny engine covers!!!!

As for me, I am happy with Vistaliners L-1011s.

Good luck to you in your venture and post screenshots of Aerosim L-1011s should you manage to find old files and fly it again.

Regards,

Aharon

Aharon,

Interesting you mentioned the PSA livery. That was the one I always used. One of the best if not the best. Still looking for the files, I konw I have them somewhere.

I have an apology to make, it was not the PSA I thought of but it was the EAA (Euro Atlantic Airways) and I have to also include Delta. The good news is I have found some of the old Aerosim files for the L1011 and testing them out now. I have only found two missing holes in the cockpit (not very noticeable). Thanks for getting me back into the L1011s'. One other place for L10's is "Historic Jetliners". Will try to post a screenie one day shortly.
