May 5, 201214 yr I also expect new weather themes. There HAVE to be new ones for the snow alone indeed. Alaska will really be something different then Hawaii because it's green in summer and white in winter. Hawaii is almost the same all year (so it seems to me). We will be getting seasons and different weather and so Alaska will offer us a lot more variety/diversity then Hawaii. Combine that with the way larger area and I think that when we have both Hawaii and Alaska on our pc, we will see that Hawaii will only be something like 5% of the game... Alaska will have a HUGE and positive impact on the content of the game. Flight will sort of EXPLODE into something huge and different and awesome! The party has just begun. Hawaii is, even with all the DLC, just a small demo... We ain't seen nothin' yet. The best is yet to come. And so on. It's going to be great! I hope...
May 5, 201214 yr Flying above Alaska will be a bigger challenge (unless we get a GPS) because above Hawaii it's VERY easy to see where you are: the islands are small and one look out of the window and you know where you are. In Alaska you really can get completely lost... You could always turn the Destination Marker back on! :Liar: I also expect new weather themes. There HAVE to be new ones for the snow alone indeed. Hawaii has vicious seasonal weather cycles. In the winter, you often need a light jacket to go down to the beach at night. And it rains every couple of days in the winter, too.
May 5, 201214 yr Commercial Member Yeah probably bush flying will be the theme of Alaska. But in my opinion they should make also part of Papua New Guinea, its also great bush flying place, and I like it more than Alaska because its tropical. Probably because I live so far north myself I find all tropical places more interesting.

Could well be but that's not something you will actually notice in Flight... The seasonal differences in Alaska should pretty obvious in Flight!!!
May 5, 201214 yr I would like some planes on the airfields though, even static ones would be fine... I agree completely, I want to see a variety of airplanes when we get Alaska. Even if they are static I would be happy with that. - Gary Letona
