May 6, 201214 yr I had this a few days ago on the B60 Duke. When I turned on my L&R fuel vent, the problem went away. Jack Cannon
May 6, 201214 yr Appreciate the update, really hope you find the cause. Sounds like it's a combination of carb heat (known FSX issue if fuel injected engines are in use, or carb icing otherwise) and leaning the mixture correctly. Don't forget to use cowl flaps during the climb, or keep the mixture rich as the extra fuel will cool things, and try not to use carb heat whilst on the ground (bad in the RW as this can suck in debris; carb icing whilst on the ground is not unknown). Good luck! Mr Fabio Lagattolla"It's better to be on the ground wishing you were flying, than flying but wishing you were on the ground!"
May 7, 201214 yr Dont think its mixture problem. I never watch any EGT reading or whatever.. you can hear the engine get weaker then you just lean the mixture till it's at max torque again.. You really have to screw it up to kill the engine John doe
