May 8, 201214 yr Just a thought I had. And quite a rediculous one really. Firstly I should explain that I have not flown my ngx for quite a while because of that frustrating real life stuff that pops up. As such my memory of the finer details is a little faded. Now I have a few days spare I think I shall get out all those expensive peripherals I bought a few months ago which have done nothing but gather dust. And the the laptop which I purchased to be an fsx slave and get the whole show linked up again. My question really came when I thought about Track IR5. On some aircraft like the A320 you get these little eye referance point balls on the center pillar. These allow you to move your head posistion to the desiged eye reference point. As I understand it this is especially useful when using a HUD. Most aircraft seem to have some kind of device like this but I never noticed one on the NG. So have I missed something like this in the VC? Or is it actually a case that the 737 has no such thing? It is of course of no real consequence. I just wondered how well such a thing would work in a VC. I am very capapble of moving my head as I require using some common sense. Really it was just a thought that made me want to find out. Also while I am here if anyone has some Track IR 5 tips using the track clip pro I could probably use them. I did give it a little go before my break as it were but was never quite happy with some of the eratic movements which occured. Especially when looking up. Some Saitek yoke, pedal and 2 quadrants setup tips would also be appreciated. Anyhow that was it. Just thought I would share some of the pointless litter that rattles about my brain from time to time. Regards all 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2
May 8, 201214 yr NGX doesn't have them. They line up instruments etc. check the tutorial for how to verify your eye position is correct. Paul Smith.
