May 6, 200422 yr Super aeroplane!Flight Plans don't work though:-(Any idea why? Moved them to "my flights" directory FS2004 sees them but won't load themRegardsAdamAdam Moorewww.hhuk.netWin XP Pro - Dell Dimension 4500P4 2.54 GHz - 1GB RAMHightech Radeon 128MB 9800Pro IceQ19" CRT 1600x1200 @ 100hzAudiophile 24/96FS2004 + UK2000 1/2/3/4/5/6/EGLL PROUK VFR 1/2/3/4Ultimate VFR : RealAir SF-260Ultimate IFR : PMDG 737-700NGUltimate FUN : RealAir Decathlon
May 6, 200422 yr Great aircraft indeed! In Windows XP I have the flight plans copied to Documents and SettingsUsernameMy DocumentsFlight Simulator Files and that works. What I don't understand is the file desc.txt, which suggests that they are flights, not flight plans. Furthermore I don't know what to do with the .fhl files. They contain text which might suggest something interactive.Jozef http://pluizig.ath.cx/signature.jpg
May 6, 200422 yr I apologize. The correct folder to install the .pln plans is as noted above "Documents and SettingsUsernameMy DocumentsFlight Simulator Files".The plans are in fact plans, not flights. The .fhl files are for FSHost interactive flight plan display by stops.Milton
May 6, 200422 yr Thanks for the info will try again tonight and do some dirty flying;-)Adam Moorewww.hhuk.netWin XP Pro - Dell Dimension 4500P4 2.54 GHz - 1GB RAMHightech Radeon 128MB 9800Pro IceQ19" CRT 1600x1200 @ 100hzAudiophile 24/96FS2004 + UK2000 1/2/3/4/5/6/EGLL PROUK VFR 1/2/3/4Ultimate VFR : RealAir SF-260Ultimate IFR : PMDG 737-700NGUltimate FUN : RealAir Decathlon
May 6, 200422 yr Thank you! beautiful plane! But I seem to have problems flying in the VC. Is there any way you could make a clean cargo version? While I love the detail of the fed ex boxes and everything inside, my computer sure doesn't! Thanks!
May 6, 200422 yr Hi Alex,Please explain exactly what problems you are having and also tell us details about your computer. I have the cargo version on my system and it works extremely well with the VC.Fantastic aircraft btw. Many thanks to Milton and crew for ANOTHER great job. It's people like Milton and his folks who have made this hobby great!
May 9, 200422 yr Well my computer isn't the fastest. 1.4 thunderbird w/ 1 gb ddr ram. gf ti4600. and all those added textures just totally slow down the VC on my computer. I tweaked FS to run beautifully with 2QxAA and 2x AF but when I get around a big city it just makes the frames jump. I hope the author can come out with a patch or something to remove the textures for us poor saps who can't afford a faster computer right now.
May 9, 200422 yr Alex,As the thread title reads, "This ain't for everybody".You've been working that ole stake-body truck to death, with the load so high above the stake sides, stuff is falling off along the roadside. Now you want to add another half-load on top of it. It ain't gonna happen. You'll be in trouble with the DOT as it is!Heck, I don't think 100 polys or 2X65K textures is gonna make a lick of difference in the VC when the other 68,000 polys and 15MB of textures is balancing precariously atop your already overloaded machine. ;-)You can try the NO-VC version for a substantial reduction in both polys and textures.Milton
May 9, 200422 yr VERY VERY VERY nice !!!Excellent cargo version Thanks !!!Samuel KalachorasAthensGreece Sam. Waiting for the 64-bit PSION Flightsim for ZX-Spectrum ////
May 9, 200422 yr Good point, unfortunately I am unable to fly a plane in a 2d panel... I guess I'm spoiled but nothing brings me closer to flying than a VCI'm going to upgrade my computer within the next few weeks. Then I'll enjoy it! Until then, thank you for making a wonderful airplane, and with a VC! Something rarely found in freeware. Glad more people enjoy cargo/freighter flying rather than the bland take people back and forth
