Moving map Display?

Featured Replies

Right now, Im using my iphone as a moving map for XP, but id rather use my second monitor. I understand G-plan works, but it needs to use the FSX database, which I no longer have installed. Is there a good free or payware moving map for Xplane 10?

Im not looking for a flight planner type of thing, just a moving map.

I think if you install xpuipc, plan-g will work with XPX. I may be wrong as I don't use it myself.

Hi Rob,

Plan G will work or maybe you might try FSwidgets, and another is (USA only) BSSMM. BSSMM is sectional moving map.

As mentioned above XPUIPC is required.

Plan-G author is working on a version 3 for X-plane using the xplane database.

Hi Rob...

Try this out http://www.duncanjauncey.com/xplane/xpdisplay/ it actually works very well. I do have some payware ones but this works just fine. I run it internally (not networked to another machine), and I use address 127.0.0.1:49003.

It gives a moving map as well as a ton of other information.
