June 4, 201214 yr Anyone know what that is? Thanks Dan What you see on the Navigation Display (ND) is the Vertical Situation Display (VSD) of the GPWS system, it will be visible in the MAP mode of the ND if you push the CTR push button twice. The VSD depicts the vertical situation of the airplane relative to the terrain throughout all phases of flight. The VSD also depicts the vertical situation of the airplane relative to the runway during final approach. Mark Scheerman Boeing 737-6/7/8/900 Ground Engineer
June 5, 201214 yr Perhaps some what off topic, but I recently noticed that the -900NGX has a third MFD button for the LDU, it seems to be inactive, but what is it for? Kristof Kristof Barocz

It's cancel/recall button for fail-operational autoland. It will recall autoland status eg."NO LAND 3", "NO AUTOLAND". Rostyslav S Wanna fly 737NGX with turbulence?
