I wanted to run the panel on a 2nd monitor for when I do a video, but sometimes it turns black and crashes FSX (this is the same with any panel FMC etc not justfs2crew main panel) don't know why or how to fix.

 

So want to be able to view but would also like it tucked away if possible.

Why not just "hide" the panel when you don't need it?

 

In fact with voice, you could almost get away with never having the panel open (assuming you've got the procedures totally memorized).

I hope it's ok i use this thread, because I have a similar question. Though it's not the size but the position i want to change, when the panels pop up.

 

I want the main panel (the one with the cfg, pa, br buttons) to pop up at top right corner of my monitor (I use a resolution of 1920x1200). And when i click on the CFG button I want that panel to pop up just under the main panel. Wich numbers do I have to change and to what?

 

I would guess that the first one I have to change is the "gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_MainPanel, 0,0,972,56" line? And I guess that the 0,0 means top left corner?

 

But how about the next panel I'm mentioning? I can't seem to find that in the lines below?

Nope, the one you want to change is:

 

position=3

 

0 is top left

1 is top middle

2 is top right

3 is middle left

 

and so on.

position=1 and postion=2 makes the panel start up in the top middle for both settings where position=2 should make i start up top right.

 

Any ideas?

Not sure.

 

The "position" entry is taken as is from the MSFS Panels and Gauges SDK.

 

Perhaps PMDG is overriding it somehow?
