June 3, 201214 yr I would like to reduce the main panel size using this setting but I am not sure where to insert. [Window21] size_mm=642, 37 pixel_size=642, 37 position=3 visible=0 ident=1000 zorder=100 Sizeable=0 gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_MainPanel, 0,0,642, 37 gauge01=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_Audio, 13,13,3,3 gauge02=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_VoiceMain, 7,7,3,3 Could anyone point me in the right direction please? June 4, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi Paul, Change all instances of "642,37" Those are measured in pixels. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 4, 201214 yr Author Yeah, sorry Bryan, but where do I find the flie to change? Thanks Paul Paul Humphries
June 4, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi Paul, Open the "Panel.cfg" with Notepad: Panel.cfg is found here: Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800NGX\ P.S. Why do you want to change the panel size? Best, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 4, 201213 yr Author I wanted to run the panel on a 2nd monitor for when I do a video, but sometimes it turns black and crashes FSX (this is the same with any panel FMC etc not justfs2crew main panel) don't know why or how to fix. So want to be able to view but would also like it tucked away if possible. Thanks for your response and support again BTW Cheers Paul. Paul Humphries
June 5, 201213 yr Commercial Member Why not just "hide" the panel when you don't need it? In fact with voice, you could almost get away with never having the panel open (assuming you've got the procedures totally memorized). B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 5, 201213 yr Author In fact with voice, you could almost get away with never having the panel open (assuming you've got the procedures totally memorized). June 7, 201213 yr I hope it's ok i use this thread, because I have a similar question. Though it's not the size but the position i want to change, when the panels pop up. I want the main panel (the one with the cfg, pa, br buttons) to pop up at top right corner of my monitor (I use a resolution of 1920x1200). And when i click on the CFG button I want that panel to pop up just under the main panel. Wich numbers do I have to change and to what? I would guess that the first one I have to change is the "gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_MainPanel, 0,0,972,56" line? And I guess that the 0,0 means top left corner? But how about the next panel I'm mentioning? I can't seem to find that in the lines below? [Window21] size_mm=972, 56 pixel_size=972, 56 position=3 visible=0 ident=1000 zorder=100 Sizeable=0 gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_MainPanel, 0,0,972,56 gauge01=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_Audio, 20,20,5,5 gauge02=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_VoiceMain, 10,10,5,5 [Window22] size_mm=866, 212 pixel_size=866, 212 position=6 visible=0 ident=1001 zorder=101 Sizeable=0 gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_AudioSetup, 0,0,866,66 gauge01=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_PreFlight, 0,66,866,62 gauge02=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_Pushback, 0,128,866,84 [Window23] size_mm=681, 110 pixel_size=681, 110 position=6 visible=0 ident=2777 zorder=102 Sizeable=0 gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_Marshaller, 0,0,681,110 [Window24] size_mm=284, 500 pixel_size=284, 500 position=6 visible=0 ident=1003 zorder=103 Sizeable=0 gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_PAPanel, 0,0,284,500 [Window25] size_mm=309, 162 pixel_size=309, 162 position=6 visible=0 ident=1004 zorder=104 Sizeable=0 gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_FADialog, 0,0,309,162 [Window26] size_mm=330, 725 pixel_size=330, 725 position=3 visible=0 ident=1005 zorder=104 Sizeable=0 gauge00=FS2Crew2010\Versions\PMDG737NGX\Gauges\FS2CrewNGXVoice!FS2Crew_BriefPanel, 0,0,330,725 Kind regards Peter
June 7, 201213 yr Commercial Member Hi Peter, Nope, the one you want to change is: position=3 0 is top left 1 is top middle 2 is top right 3 is middle left and so on. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 7, 201213 yr position=1 and postion=2 makes the panel start up in the top middle for both settings where position=2 should make i start up top right. Any ideas? Kind regards Peter
June 7, 201213 yr Commercial Member Not sure. The "position" entry is taken as is from the MSFS Panels and Gauges SDK. Perhaps PMDG is overriding it somehow? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
