edit ms flight files and content

open corecontent.pak with winrar

Not for me.... That took me years.... No more editing / "fixing" / "tunning" here :-)

Thx for the info anyway... :-)

Sometimes I read about Prepar3d, or FSX with great add-ons, and now that I restarted flightsimming I am tempted to try one of those again, or even the competition (you know what I mean...), but then I visit their forums and the hard/painful memories from the past, for longer than 10 years, come to my mind and I think how good it is to have a flightsim that installs/runs/updates/grows smooth as silk :-)

I am all for MS FLIGHT's way of controlling the installaition, the updates, the content ...

MS FLIGHT is P&P

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

LOL No, I also don't want to think about tweaking and editing and fixing anymore... I already don't like the fact that I have to edit cfg's for Flight (for default zoom and the screenshot view). But tweaking, specially for performance... yikes.

BTW When you open corecontent.pak with winrar and edit the files, does Flight still work? I doubt it.

Actually, just rename the file to .zip. No need for a special program. As for whether it will work, I'd be surprised.
