The volume of the FO is too quiet. This used not to be a problem but now, even if I turn the volume control up to maximum, it seems to have little affect.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

What version of FS2Crew NGX are you using?

 

When the main Panel is opened, the current version number will be displayed.

 

Note that initial release of FS2Crew had a bug in the volume system, which was corrected in a later version.

Check your Windows System volume. It may be set low.
