FSX 747 test flight stall help

I've completed several missions in FSX and tried completing 747 test flight but I just couldn't seem to get out of the stall at the first test.

 

My first try was full throttle and nose down at 5 degrees, didn't work, I just fell out of the sky.

Second try full throttle and nose down 5 degrees trying to bank slightly from left to right, didn't work, same with first try results.

 

Can anyone please help? I'm eager to finish this mission....

Try to cut throttle completely instead and put your plane into nosedive. Then when you have enough speed start pulling up slowly.

Just follow the instructions for the first (power off) stall: "Reduce power to idle and slowly pitch up to 10° until the aircraft stalls."

 

You just hold 10° Nose up attitude and the aircraft will stall (you get the stick shaker).

 

Quick & Deliberate Recovery is critical in the FSX 747. If you don't get airflow over the wings, you will mush in. You horse around in the recovery, you will quickly be greeted by the desert floor.

 

So you get the stick shaker and right after the co-pilot says, "initiate recovery procedures"... stick forward to get the nose pointed more toward where you are headed (the ground) which might mean 10° to 20° (probably not 30°) nosedown and as the airspeed starts to build... gently start raising the nose and bring in full power. You raise the nose too quick and you'll get a secondary stall... meaning same same i.e. another stall which you need to recover from.

 

This isn't like the FSX Cessna where you can actually push to the stall break and just relax pressure slightly... and the plane starts flying again.

 

For the Departure (Power-On) Stall... again follow the set-up procedure the co-pilot gives you. The second half (after the plane is slowed up) when you are maintaining 170kts, going to flaps 10... then pitching up to 20° Nose Up Attitude with full power... the aircraft will stall IF you maintain that 20° Nose Up Attitude. Again... quick / deliberate action on the stall recovery procedure.

 

This is a fun mission... hope you get the stall recovery worked out.
