June 14, 201213 yr I have no trouble changing the com frequencies in the 2D panel but I am having trouble selecting the number in the VC, I can only seem to change what comes after the period. How do I change the bit before? (I am not referring the problem that it's hard to change the knobs when the plane is moving) Can somehow help? Thanks Joachim (Joe)
June 15, 201213 yr Author The default A321 for example but I have this difficulty in other aircrafts, I have just not figured out how to do it yet like in the 2D cockpit. Joachim (Joe)
June 15, 201213 yr You can either press "A" till you reachthe view which is top down on the pedestal, or press "Shift"+"2" in order to get the 2D radio stack and change it from there - at least that's what I do. Regards Flo Florian
June 15, 201213 yr In the VC, I normally hold the spacebar down, move the view with the mouse and then roll the mouse wheel to zoom in on anything I want to faff about with. Alternatively, if you don't use the pop up 2D radio panel, then you might want to give Multi Crew Experience a try (there's a demo available). With MCE you can just say something like 'VHF 1 to 118 point 75' and the virtual co-pilot will change it for you. Al Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
June 15, 201213 yr The radios have both inner and outter knobs. The inner knob is for the two digit number after the decimal point, and the outter knob is for the three digit number before the decimal... FS Blog -- http://www.flightsim...y.blogspot.com/

Regards Flo Thanks, great shortcut tips! I did not know them. Big help thanks. I will give the Multi Crew Experience a look, but I want to learn how to do it just with fsx default. The radios have both inner and outter knobs. The inner knob is for the two digit number after the decimal point, and the outter knob is for the three digit number before the decimal... Let's use the A321 for example, I can change the inner knob but not the lower part (all the same knob). At the Squawk box I have two knobs and around the com frequencies one knob. Can you be very specific I can't get it to work. Thanks Joachim (Joe)
