Home Cockpit Overhead / FS2CREW

Featured Replies

HI!

Can anyone tells me if I am right and tell me how I can solve it please?

I have my own cockpit. I use FS2Crew 223 and I think that doing an engine start with the use of my OVHD panel, FS2CREW is avoiding this. I like to do the checklists and do not want the FO to do the engine start.

Can you tell me if I am right; Is FS2CREW's FO interfering the startup and makes the OVHD unusable? I also noticed that during the checks, the FO is asking me a lot of times 'Are you sure?' although switches on the OVHD are setup correct.

At this moment I am thinking of removing FS2CREW, because I can not find a way to use my own OVHDpanel funstion.

I am curious what you can tell me about this.

THANKS and regards,

cuevision

edit:

Sorry, its about the iFly 737NG FS2CREW 1.2 Voice Commander. I have set it up for the PROSIM737 Jetstream. All functions work fine, but as I said, I think the FO is causing the problems.

Hi Ed,

FS2Crew uses the iFly SDK to read the switch positions on the aircraft.

The problem is that your overhead hardware is probably 'overriding' the commands sent by FS2Crew.

What you need to do is print out the "Flows" section in the manual and ensure that you move the knobs on your hardware to match the FO's flow actions.

Hope that makes sense.

Cheers,

Hi Bryan,

I understand it now. Its a very nice program. Will not fly without it! I am very surprised what work you have had with developing all these versions and especially the voicecommander versions. All credits to you!
