I'm embarassed to bring this up again but I cannot make the Ctrl-Shift-; function Save as I think it should. I use the technique with FSX running (OS Windows 7) but I'll be damned if I can find and re-load that file. If you are tired of anwering the same question, just point me to the thread where I can find the answer.

click the button that says ".wx and .pln path" - and enter the path where the fs .wx and .pln files are stored.

 

that is where rc writes the .rcd files

 

when you load an .rcd file - that path you entered previously, is where you go to find the .rcd files

Did you check the keyboard assignment tab in RC? Make sure it is different than FSX.
