Wondering if someone could help, ever since re-installing the NGX the pop up telling you how much elevator trim you have set does not come up when I hover the mouse over the trim wheels, so I can no longer make accurate trim adjustments for TO. Anyone know how to get it back? Preferably without a full re-install :(

Sometimes, clicking in random spots on the screen will get it to come back. Otherwise, check that tool tips are on in your options manual.

 

 

 

To be very honest, though, if you're sitting in the real plane and you hold your hand over the trim wheel, are you going to get a pop up above your hand saying 6.09? Nope. When you fly the real thing you have to eyeball it and get it as close as you can. Flying without the tool tip is more realistic in that way. Even though the FMC is very specific, you don't have to be that perfect.

Thanks, will try that, yeh I know its completely unrealistic, its just laziness setting in - I have coped fine without it so far, its just hard to see on the screen unless your zoomed right in!
