May 23, 200422 yr Hi,I have been using these sceneries for a while now, and outside their native Finland they seem to have gone relitivly unnoticed. All of them are well worth the download, and as good as, if not surpass some payware offerings.Do yourself a favour, if you have not got these "hidden" gems, get em, you will not be disapointed.http://fisd.fsnordic.net/projects.phpCheersDan.
May 23, 200422 yr Seconded, and thanks for the link, Dan, as there are one or two there I had missed. They are all of wonderful quality, and with the terrain, forestation etc. Finland becomes almost real. I've been there often in the real world, and just love to fly there in FS.So follow the link, fellas! It's all great work.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM

May 24, 200422 yr Hi,Yeah, try these guys work > http://www.flightsim.no/home/textureart/All of thier work is avaliable here > http://www.flightsim.no/file/FS2004/Scenery/Europa/Thier "Fish & Fly" series is very, very good, also thier Angleholm and Halmstad sceneries are excellent examples of top notch freeware scenery.I really do enjoy the more lesser known sceneries, and its amazing just how many gems you can find away from the big file libraries.I also enjoy this guys great japanese scenery > http://flightinfo.ens.ne.jp/souea/sc00.htmCheersDan.
May 24, 200422 yr Nice to see these guys getting some recognition. It's really nice to be flying around my now "adopted" home country. Finland has a lot to offer the GA pilot, not exactly like the cascades, but good old forests and small GA strips. Kitee is my favourite of them :)
May 25, 200422 yr excellent link Dan. i had no idea those were out there...and just spent the last 1/2 hour gettin them all. i know where i'll be flying for awhile.thanks for the link, and thanks for your metroliner repaints. i'm still enjoying them!chris
May 25, 200422 yr Wow, thx. I just downloaded the first 3-4 and I am amazed. This is top notch payware like quality. Guess I am booked for a Finnish tour during the next few days.Alex
May 25, 200422 yr Hi,Glad you are all liking them.As I said before, its amazing what else is available away from the major file libraries. It also goes to enforce that addons do not have to be payware to guarantee quality.Chris.....Cheers, glad you are still enjoying the Metroliner !!!! ;)Many Thanks to the FISD Team, you work is really appreciatedCheersDan.
May 25, 200422 yr Hi,Guys, don't you recognise Lennart's textures? Or are you all new here? Lennart Arvidson's textures were the best freeware textures available for FS2002 (my opinion). Now he is develloping new textures for fs2004, despite of his promess of never doing that again (because some dorks were to much critizing his wonderful work). Welcome back, Lennart!hm
May 25, 200422 yr hm,Yes! Lennart, the texture wizard is working on his new textures for FS2004. Have a look on his preview page:http://www.flightsim.no/home/textureart/textur/textur.htmIt's in swedish, but the shots say it all. Lennart plans release them some time in next month.Ulf B
May 26, 200422 yr Now isn't that beautiful. That is the best FS related news I heard in month. I absolutely loved Lennart's textures in FS2K2.Alex
