Anyone remeber this one by Microprose. What a blast. I know the folks at DCS have their gameplan worked out. I have the A-10, awesome still learning.

 

While I was learning the A-10, saw a post on the DCS forums of upcoming projects. I then thought of how cool it would be to have an updated F14 Fleet Commander type sim.

 

F18's are cool too, but going a little retro, I think would be a lot of fun.

of all the flight sims I played (and back in the 90s I bought every one of them!) F14 Fleet Commander is still my favorite.

It was well known. Actually called Fleet Defender.

I believe Iris is developing their Tomcat for DCS.

I have had my eyes on DCS for awhile, haven't bought anything yet though. However, if they had an F-14 and carrier ops, I would be all in. The Tomcat has been my favorite US fighter since I was a kid, any chance to jump in virtually I will take.

OOPS, my bad. Yep, Fleet Defender. Been a while. Thanks for the correction.

 

Non the less, would love to see an updated version. Not just the plane.
