July 6, 201213 yr Author God! Don't say that! Bite your tongue! This machine has suffered enough, I got hit my mcAfee Bug last year, had to format twice,as intructed to XP-SP2,then to win7,twice Took me for ever to get refund from mcAfee,, no big a deal. Resorted to Avira, for some reason with Avira supporter on-line didn't succeed to install, several times. There i was refunded straight away. So I resorted upon advice from ther simmer frineds for MSE. That has so far worked properly so far,, Do regular scans,as adviced nothing appears, luckily. Whne I saw yoour post I went o checke if I was logged as administrator and clicked on it an I appeared, ie.my user name. Then I tried again and now I can open both my application Data and app AppData folders and get to the destination folder I want to get to, but sthere are still some folder which are not accesible, but I have double folder of fx. my photoes, one with a Blue curved arrow, which I can't open and one without which I can open,Here is an image of my folder structure: I have Full Control in my security settings...
July 6, 201213 yr Commercial Member Ah. those ones with the little blue curve are some sort of internal system shortcuts. You can't access them. If you hide system files in the folder settings you wont see them. Its too bad in Vista and Win 7 that they didn't have a separate setting for those because there are system files I want to see but not those. Regards, Dave Opper HiFi Support Manager
July 6, 201213 yr Author Can you explain please how to get rid of them Please? I no computer expert so I'm used to have all these things in a way I ca recognize and use readily; I have no idea how these got changed; they were fine until I got a flash player update. I'm off line now until tomorrow...

July 7, 201213 yr Commercial Member It doesn't matter if You delete the shortcut. It won't delete the actual FSX.CFG file. Vi hors. . Regards, Dave Opper HiFi Support Manager
