July 7, 201213 yr My problem: only the left fuel tank is used by both engines, creating rapidly a fuel imbalance. My settings: - boost pumps: ON - Crossfeed: AUTO - Transfer pumps: AUTO (the checklist indicates "transfer pumps: ON but there is no such option: options are only: OFF / AUTO / OVERRIDE). I checked this forum for similar postings and saw recommendations to load the plane after loading a default FSX airplane, as well as avoiding using the CTR+E to start engines. I also have installed the various update to the airplane. Does anyone have a recommendation for me ? thanks Jean-Marc Jean-Marc Jaquier
July 20, 201213 yr I just bought this plane and have the same problem. I tried a number of things from starting with the Cessna 172 and swapping to the King Air to going through the steps in the tutorial by "Yoda". It always pulls from the left tank. Nothing I do with the Transfer pump override, crossfeed, or booster pump buttons make any difference. Any ideas? July 20, 201213 yr Anyone have any ideas on this? I also tried starting with other FSX planes like the Baron and have the same issue. I'd really appreciate any suggestions on solutions to this problem Chris Magnus HR Manager Air Jamaica Virtual Airlines and Cargo (http://www.airjamaicavirtualairlinesandcargo.org)
July 21, 201213 yr It is as you wrote: a problem with your FSX installation and not a problem with the King Air or the Baron. For me both tanks are emptied, not only the left one. Allways three greens,Markus VFR-Flightsimmer.de
July 21, 201213 yr This is an FSX problem. Load the 172 first (which some are doing) and MAKE SURE THE FUEL TANK SELECTOR IS SET TO BOTH! That's very important. It doesn't hurt to cycle the fuel selector a couple of times and then set it to BOTH. Then go ahead and load the King Air. You should be ok then. FSX remembers the last state the previous airplane's fuel selector was set to, so if you fly the 206 for instance, and you're on the left tank then exit (or even load the 172 and save, then exit without changing the fuel tank selector), the King Air will only "see" the left tank. I've "run out of gas" a few times in the Lear before I figured that one out, even though I had a full right tank (and a hell of a rolling moment towards the right wing!).

I had the same problem with my FSD Cirrus Vision SF-50 that I just downloaded and this fixed the problem. Thanks!!
