If your installing FS9 on a Windows7 64bit environment I have a write up in the Windows7 forum that might be helpful. I found a reinstall of FS9 not that much of an issue if you have a backup of your previous setup.

I may have overlooked someone else mentioning it but, . . . . . . . . , remember to have all of your payware keys etc. handy and protected from loss and ready to use.

Congratulations on the new system, Ian, and good luck with the install. I'll reiterate my recommendation from a few weeks back to try installing FS9 on a separate SSD, as the reduction in sim and texture loading times is considerable (especially with huge add-ons like Megascenery). There have been some amazing sales on SSD's of late at places like Amazon, with 120 GB versions going for as little as $70 - $90. Worth the investment IMHO.
