July 19, 201213 yr When I start with C&D, I press the menu-button of the fmc dcu a few seconds to make some adjustments for the beginning. Then I set the ground options but if I want to connect ground power, nothing happens. The text "connected" is marked red but I can see no GPU in the outside view, the blue annunciator remains extinguished too. It's a little bit frustrating. I ran the installer again with the repair option. The only effort is the deletion of the installed addon liveries... Would be pleased if anyone knows who tho solve the problem. Thanks folks!
July 19, 201213 yr Make sure the parking brake is set - FSX loads by default with the brakes off... DJ
July 19, 201213 yr It doesnt require parking bprake set, you need to set chock first. Lj. Prodanovic
July 19, 201213 yr Author It doesnt require parking bprake set, you need to set chock first. Chocks set (I can see them in the outside view), parking brakes set. Very strange... If I use standby power, the ac/dc annunciator panel remains dark. I guess, it should indicate at least the standby-power values. But it does'nt.
July 19, 201213 yr I guess you turned on battery? Lj. Prodanovic
July 19, 201213 yr I guess you turned on battery? If he got no GPU on external view, it's definitely problem with the aircraft, but not mistake in procedures. Rostyslav S Wanna fly 737NGX with turbulence?
July 20, 201213 yr I think g_precentralis was refering to the " standby power, the ac/dc annunciator panel remains dark" remark. Dave Baggs. EGLL.
July 23, 201213 yr Author Sometimes there is no proper solution than reinstalling. Now it works fine (but the sometimes the chocks are not visible). Problem solved. Topic closed. Thanks folks for your ideas! Have fun with your PMDGs!
