How many of you fly the Frolov and Herger Dash 8-300

Hi,Well, I sort of got the merge to work, everything is there, BUT, the gear now does not want to come upAny ideas?CheersDan.

Does the new version allow autosave. The problem I had with the original versions was if the sim crashed you could not recover and had to start over again.Mark.

I'm not sure about the upcomming payware version, but the current version, 1.004b doesn't allow saving. You have to go through the whole start procedure even when you've saved a situation with the plane running.

Well hopefully the payware version has an autosave. I know the purists don't like it because you can miss the start up, etc. but developers need to recognize this is a sim that will crash on you and nothing is worse than losing a flight on final because of a system problem unrelated to the plane you are flying.Mark.

>I too thought this meant the gauge was a dummy, but maybe not.Hi John,I haven't flown the Dash for some time. Perhaps the latest update has enabled the weather radar. I remember the display giving me heavy rain in areas where there were clouds but no rain and at other times showing moderate cloud coverage when there was none. Perhaps I misread the range on the screen and it was picking up weather that was beyond my visual range. Either way, it is still a fine freeware product and I look forward to seeing their new payware Dash8.Mike

Anyone have any idea about the gear operation when merged with the PSS Dash 8?cheersDan.
