convert FS04 to FSX PMDG 737NGX livery

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

I know there are already a lot of instructions of how to concert FS04 liveries to FSX liveries. I have already tried a numerous ways, but all of them didn't really work out.

So does anybody has a clue, of how to convert FS04 liveries to the PMDG 737NGX FSX version?

I am really thankful for all ideas.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Hello Chris,

the liveries of the PMDG 737NG legacy version for FS2004 are not compatible for the PMDG 737NGX product for FSX. It's two completly different pair of shoes. Sorry!

The instructions you found are meant for converting liveries from FS9 version to FSX version of the same aircraft, say, Flight 1 ATR or Level D 767.

Unfortunately (although, really, fortunately), PMDG 737NG(X) is not such a case. The NGX is a whole new add-on, built for FSX and todays computers from ground up. That allows for level of detail that would be impossible if commoniality with the older add-on was kept even if only in external texture mapping.

Anyway there is an extreme amount of liveries for the NGX, and if there is something specific you would like to have, best bet is to leave a request in the livery thread.
