First Time Using ENB MOD

Featured Replies

Hi everyone this is my first time using ENB MOD . I am very amaze of what it can do , but my problem is that every time i scroll to the left to view anything out window in the VC my FPS drop from 20 FPS to 5FPS only when turning with the mouse . When i leave the mouse still in one place FPS seems normal . But as i turn left or right with the mouse FPS seems to drop . I have not change anything from what it originally came with. Does anyone knows how to fix this? By the the aircraft that am using is the 737 NGX

You will be more amazed when you find the perfect ENB.ini settings. Search Google and try out some settings that really look awesome.

The fps drop has nothing to do with ENB mod, it's tied directly with the mouse.

From what I understand, FSX wasn't designed with it's own cursor, and according to how PMDG designed the NGX you get fps drop every time the cursor is displayed and active.

If you let it auto hide or park it in the top left corner where that little white box is, the fps is restored.

This isn't fixable as it's a limitation of FSX.

I understand , but this has nothing to do with the cursor . I notice it has to deal with the ENB MOD because when i deactivate it my FPS are normal again. This is one reason why am getting TRACK IR now so i can stop using the mouse to move around in the VC. I think with TRACK IR i will get better FPS when moving around. But to stay in the Topic i also notice that when any message such as FSpassenger or rex weather updating i get these flashing screen an i know its do the ENB MOD because when i deactivate it everything is normal.

With ENB Series I can have good light effects, but it makes the scenery less sharp.

Also in the VC I can clearly see the difference with on/off.

ENB + NGX = no way on my system. I had to stop sing ENB when I got the NGX as it caused my AA to go away. I dont see the FPS drop when the cursor is showing and it it is happening it is too small for me to even notice.

if your picture with enb ON is really blurry and looking like an old time TV show, you might try to see if you have a file called "effect.txt" in your FSX main folder (same as ENBs d3d9.dll).

if you have, rename it (or move to a different folder) and try to see if it makes a difference.

other possibility: your bloom settings are too high in the "enbseries.ini" file.
