August 8, 201213 yr Hey Merlin, you've changed the world a bit! 'What? I'm just turning a prop! Stupid humans. Now let me get back to work! 1 7 5 11 3 9 6 12 2 8 4 10.' :P ^_^ Nice read on the article.
August 9, 201213 yr Moderator Thanks for the link. Although the Merlins were rather quiet, there was a link on that page to an interesting article regarding the "800th Birthday" of the Thomanerchor of Leipzig... ...which of course is quite famous for having had J.S. Bach as it's choirmaster for thirty-five of those years! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/fast_track/9743055.stm Fr. In my opinion the best St.John is Suzuki's live recording of 2000 and St Matthew is Jonathan Miller's production of 1994. Back on topic! Apart from Bach being "music to the ears" almost as much as the Merlins. There is still one sound out there that beats the lot. That of four RR Conways on the back of a VC10. Unforgettable!
