Is it possible to smooth the hat switch more, or make it less jerky? I have started flying in the 3d cockpit, on the PMDG NGX, but one of the things I don't like is that quite often when you are in the landing sequnce, you have to look down at you dials then look up at the runway. It is a very jerky process. I would like to get TrackIR soon, but for now I haven't got this aid.

 

If it was just a little smoother I would like it more.

I'd be curious to hear this too. I'm guessing there isn't much of a solution except a product like EZDOK (which I'm waiting for V2 before buying) perhaps.

Mines programmed through FSUIPC and works smoothly.

While not a fix to your issue, it might be a workaround. You can reset the viewpoint back to the default view by pressing CTRL-Space.

 

I very highly recommend you to get EZCA tho, its a must-have addon for VC fliers in my opinion
