August 18, 201213 yr Author I will take a look at the forum when I get home, just took a quick glance now and there's some interesting posts on there. Thanks for your help and support guys, really is appreciated.
August 18, 201213 yr I use similar curves for all axis as shows above, all you need to do is to understand how the system works, the curve shows you what is the fs head movement (rotation speed) at each head angle. More speed is equal to more head displacement with less movement, this means that you need to turn less your head to reach 180° for example. Lower or increase the curve to adjust the sensibility, the central dots can be used for a precision and null zone, this means that lowering the dotswill let you make some small movements with the head that doesn't move the view. It is simple to do, play with one axis, when you're happy, just copy to the others, if you are not happy with only one or 2 modify them. TIR software can be also used to see the results. August 18, 201213 yr Author Right, back into the box it goes. It's way more easier to use the bloody mouse and space bar to pan than it is to use trackir, can't get it working for me and it's causing too much agro.
August 18, 201213 yr If you invested in Track IR then EZDok needs to be your next purchase. I was going to suggest do what's on page 24 of the EZDok manual but then I just realized Track IR and EZDok are still separate programs and are not purchased together. They work together so seemlessly. Sorry I don't have an answer for your particular setup. EZDok would solve this with the "edit" function From page 24of the EZDok manual: To change the position of the camera, switch to this camera and toggle EDIT mode (press button 2 on the numeric keypad by default). You will hear beeps indicating that EZCA is in EDIT mode. Adjust the camera position by using the arrow keys, and set camera elevation with the Page Up and Page Down keys (the name will vary based on your keyboard). Then set the view direction with the mouse, adjusting the camera zoom with the mouse wheel. You then leave EDIT mode by pressing button 2 again on numeric keypad. The stop of the beep sound will indicate that EDIT mode is off. Chuck Biggins
August 18, 201213 yr Author I've tried shifting the camera view backwards with ezdok, but as soon as I unpaus trackir it just overrides ezdok and puts my nose back against the wind shield.
August 18, 201213 yr Author I think I've sorted it with the help of ezdok and this video! Thanks guys!
August 18, 201213 yr Glad to see it works. It's a shame to hear people put TIR back in their boxes because of the learning curve. Chuck Biggins
August 18, 201213 yr Author Glad to see it works. It's a shame to hear people put TIR back in their boxes because of the learning curve. It can just become frustrating that's all, like anything new, you have to learn! :) But it is working as I want it now, so thankyou all for the help! :) And WOW it's definitely worth the patience to get it going as you want Could someone tell me which factor effects the zoom in and out, when you lean forward it zooms in? as I'd like to adjust that so I don't have to lean forward as much for it to zoom. Thanks :)
