Yeah,the fact that it was suicide makes it even more tragic.

He was a sucessfull director but unfortunately,mental illness doesn't discriminate.

I believe it was because he had an inoperable brain tumor. So sad.

These rumors of Tony Scott having a brain tumor were spread by Good Morning America who claimed to have gotten the info from somebody close to Scott.

 

Tony's wife, however, has said these rumors are not true.
