GSX and followme

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Firstly, the new version I've been getting good success with in combined with GSX startup, and radar contact for the ATC, woohoo! :)

For the end of the flight - In the GSX instructions for MCE, it says:

"Right now, interaction with GSX or AES after landing (the parking bit) is not implemented due to insufficient info."

However sometimes the FO mentions followme.

How can we ask for followme if the parking bit is not implemented?

I tried things like "Request followme gate 7" or "Parking 6" and things like that but no go.

Is followme not implemented and parking choices not ready yet?

Will MCE interogate the GSX parking menu in the future?

many thanks

I just use the GSX interface for that part. ie. Bring up the GSX dialog box.

Regards,

Rick Hobbs

Yeah I think I have to. I understand there is no GSX SDK yet.

I suppose the pushback and start menu is easy to estimate what's on there.

But the parking has so many gates.

If I select the gate myself, will MCE be able to pickup from there and Simon can arrange deboarding etc?

Or does it go into pushback ground mode when we say "ground from cockpit" after taxiing?

Once at gate and parking brake set and engines are off, then contact Simon and request deboarding
