Project Opensky Shutting Down?

Featured Replies

I haven't seen this posted anywhere and didn't come up with any info in a search but I just went to the Project Opensky website to look for an ERJ-145 and was greeted by an announcment the PO has been dissolved and the website will shut down on 8/31.

Odd that I haven't heard of this. How about anyone else?

The reason I put this here is that I know a lot of FSX pilots use at least some Opensky aircraft.

Thank you.

Rick

They shut down a long time ago didnt they? Split up, Free Sky Project is half of Project Opensky I believe.

That's because this news is now about three years old...

...so no, a casual glance at the forums wouldn't have a mention of it.

Wow!. 3 years ago? I d/led aircraft as late as November of last year (just before my old system died) and never saw this notice. Don't know how I could have missed that. Thanks for bringing me up to date.

Carry on.

Thank you.
