Application to view AI Aircraft on hard drive

Featured Replies

I'm looking for an application that allows me to view all aircraft in my FSX folder, whether it is flyable or not.

The aircraft are contained in SimObjects folder, but multiple sub folders.

I want to add some of my AI aircraft to UT2, but would like to sell the different texture variations before doing so.

Thanks,

Ernie

I should metion that I tried TweakFS's FS Aircraft ToolBox last night. While it does what I want, it only does it for FSX defalut and third-party aircraft (Carenado, MilViz, RealAir, etc.) that are fully modeled.

I couldn't get it to display images of AI aircraft (HTAI, WOAI, etc.).

Thanks,

Ernie

FSRepaint from Abacus has a demo version that will do what you want, I think.

There are some FSX native models that don't display, but I believe the majority of AI out there are not FSX native.

Excellent. This is exactly what I was looking for.

As you indicated; there are some models which can't be viewed in the demo version (e.g.Carenado and RealAir), but that's okay because those are visible within FSX.
