DA Fokker AutoPilot Problem

Featured Replies

hey guys,i know this does not even related to this part of Avsim, but Flight1's Forum didn't answer me!

i have a really serious problem with Fokker's Autopilot, after takeoff(with NAV and PROF armed)about 1000 ft,i engaged AP 1 and then nothing!after 1500 ft i selected CLB thrust but the APs still don't do anything!(and at this moment,i can control aircraft by JoyStick!)

i've tried Tutorial num 3 and 4,no joy,and i came here to ask what i'm supposed to do?

FSUIPC 4.60,registered

FSX acceleration

DA Fokker,SP 2.5 intalled,with AIRAC 1208 Navigraph

Windows7 64-bit

Ok, im gonna assume that you have fired the aircraft up correctly, with the IRS's properly aligned and FMC setup.

The method i use is this.

1/ I arm the NAV and PROFILE before engaging throttles.

2/ I spool the throttles up to EPR 1.30, and when confirming the engines are performing normally, engage TOGA.

3/ Upon rotation i assume a rotation angle of 8 degrees and let the aircraft accelerate while the F/O retracts the Flaps and

gear.

4/ I follow the F/D bar and when the F/O calls "Profile Captured", thats when i hit AP 1.

The aircraft should then capture the LNAV and climb profile without you having to do anything more really.

Calm down! You won't get any help with an attitude like that.

Also, it's Saturday morning (in the states anyway, lol), so not many users are logged in.

Does it need FSUIPC?which version?registered or not?and is it possible that autopilot problem is 'caused by FSUIPC?

Did you read this, Sir?

]Q: After Installation, I can not see the Flight Director (FD) bars and/or Autoflight (AFCAS) does not work, what should I do?

A: There is a problem with your FSUIPC software. The installer installs a FSUIPC module. In some cases this may removes a already existing FSUIPC version. Please go to: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html and reinstall FSUIPC. FSUIPC is required for both, FS9 and FSX. You do NOT need to buy and/or register FSUIPC!
