August 26, 201213 yr Hello This is my first post, I hope I make my requst for help clear. Please bear with me. (I am actually un-sure how to spell ck my post). 10 years ago I was an avid participant in the FS9 world with add ons such as FSgenisis, add on senery from individuals Aircraft both free wre and pay ware. I was no expert. But I do remember that some add on compatability issues exsisted. Thus I do not want to box my self out of popular add ons with the addition of one product. I hope this makes since. I need to mention also that my home computer from that time frame 10 years ago with ton's of add ons is "no more". A lot of effort lost. I have FS9, FS 10, CH Peddles, Yoke, Throttles. My desk system is a loaded Dell XPS 3 wide screens (MS XP pro, With Avalible MS 7 standing by. Its been 3 years looking here and I am impressed with all the products to enhance the Sim experince. I also need to mention that untill last year the las t 9 years were consummed with Several Cardiovascular Hospitaliztions followed by Phy Rehab, thus my felling of starting from scratch. Thanks for any help. Mark. By the way the user name is the tail # from the 9 hrs in my log book (lessons real world) prior to my last CHF which puts here. starting over to build up nice Flight Sim experince. Thanks Agian.
August 26, 201213 yr Hello Mark, :hi: On behalf of AVSIM staff I want to welcome you back to flight simulation and to the AVSIM forums. I hope that you will enjoy your hobby again better than ever before. Take your time to look around the different forums and do a lot of reading, and you will get a better sense of where to relaunch from, and with what equipment and software. Kind regards,
August 27, 201213 yr As far as spell checking posts is concerned, some browsers include a spell check function that works in most forums (Firefox works here, but not in Barnes & Noble's "book clubs"). There's also the option of composing posts in an external application that features spell check (like OpenOffice Write or Microsoft Word) and using the Microsoft Windows OS clipboard to transfer the text to the browser's text box. Of course spell checks won't catch a properly spelled wrong word (like sore where you should have typed soar).
August 27, 201213 yr Welcome back! I just got back after being out of it for 5 years. Lots of fun new stuff to play with. Hope your health continues to improve. Randy Swofford
