September 16, 201213 yr Off topic, but guys I was just Air to Air with the ANZ All Blacks with around 2,000ft separation entering the LAX Special Flight Rules Area in the PA-28. She's so incredible! Couldn't believe it! - Luke Pabari
September 17, 201213 yr That is awesome to hear....It is an amazing aircraft. The only Black Livery out there and she really stands out in the clouds. I think it is the best Livery ever done. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
September 17, 201213 yr It is a real head turner indeed. Might have cost 800,000USD to paint, but the best advertising bang for their buck ANZ have ever spent. September 17, 201213 yr Agree. The best livery ever done. Looks fantastic. Though I don't like the new livery of ANZ with the black tails and white fuselage. Looks boring, and the current real is much nicer, especially with the phased out wave on the forward fuselage.
September 17, 201213 yr Though I don't like the new livery of ANZ with the black tails and white fuselage. Looks boring, and the current real is much nicer, especially with the phased out wave on the forward fuselage. I agree with that too. I think ANZ has been a little too caught up on the All Blacks with that change. The Pacific Wave Sea and Sky theme was inspired by the Maoru Koru. The colours based on the Pounamu or Greenstone http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koru http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pounamu It seems a few too many All Blacks fans at ANZ for them to rebrand overtop of these New Zealand traditions. New Zealand isn't all about Rugby and I would have thought the three All Black planes would have been good enough celebration of the Rugby World Cup.... Oh well. I am not too bothered as it is still the same airline regardless of the paint they use and they will keep a white or black Koru Cheers Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
September 17, 201213 yr I HOPE YOU WILL BE UPLOADING PICTURES!!!!!!! haha , especially with the phased out wave on the forward fuselage. Even if they dont have the "Pacific wave" on the -300ER's wish they did though... :( -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!
September 17, 201213 yr Author I HOPE YOU WILL BE UPLOADING PICTURES!!!!!!! haha Mate way too busy flying. I wouldn't recommend losing concentration whilst flying in the LA Class Bravo airspace! Luckily it's VFR and was a brilliantly clear day so that gave for some wonderful views. - Video of the flight. Unfortunately the GoPro didn't pick the ANZ up! - Luke Pabari

Unfortunately the GoPro didn't pick the ANZ up! thought you wouldnt!!! with Air Cadets, the ones not so serious about learning to fly just take pictures and do aerobatics, whereas a fly it for a long time, but i am laways told "if theres something you want to take a picture of, feel free just to tell me and i can take control for you while you do your thing" im really enjoying your flight training Video's Luke! Do you think you'll get chance for a spotting video sometime soon? -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!

Do you think you'll get chance for a spotting video sometime soon? Well, as a pilot you should know when it's appropriate to get your phone or camera out to take some photos. I normally would when I have it trimmed out and I am on course. Also I'm under ATC 85% of the time so that needs monitoring. I'm not sure when the next spotting video will be, probably not for a few weeks as I'm too busy with Ground School & Flying. - Luke Pabari
