What weight DOW use the PMDG 737Ngx

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm completing a Fligth Plan with a sheet exel, but did not find in the manual PMDG 737Ngx the

( DOW ) weight in kg, which is applied in the CDU 737Ngx The page PAYLOAD and how and estimated weight to Kg, is applied to passenger?

Tanks for the Repley,

Have a good Day,

Roberto.

Ciao Roberto,

very easy: you can check your b737 D.O.W. by selecting "0" pax, and "0" cargo in your fmc fs load page, by doing that you should read 41,4 tons.

A passenger weights 80 kg in this simulation (but I used kilos I can't say in pounds, maybe is a rounding of 180 lbs=81,6 kg) anyway 73 kg + a hand baggage (8 kilos) is considered (you should say that a male could weight more than 73 kg but females and childrens weight a lot lesser) so I usually add (minimums not considering extra cargo) 15 kg per pax in the cargo bays to simulates luggages ...

A presto

Thanks so much for Reply,

After a long search I've Seen these parameters to finish my Exel sheet where having the Fuel Plan and the payload:

Configuration Liveries RYR 737-800 HDW

Weigth Limitations:

MAXTOW 74990Kg

MALLAW 65317Kg

MALTOF 70533Kg

MAXZFW 61688Kg

MAXLOAD 21319Kg

TNKCAP 20820Kg

DOW 41400Kg or 41413Kg

PAYLOAD

MEN 81Kg or 84Kg ?

WOMAN 73Kg ??

CHILD 35Kg

INFANT 00Kg

BAGGAGE 13Kg or 15Kg ?

Do you like these weights should be adjusted?

calculating the weights is described as well as a difference of PLNZFW of 5300 kg compared to calculating the payload of the CDU 737Ngx.

If I remember correctly the name you have a Very expert in PlanLoad.

ciaoo,

Roberto.

Payload weight methodology differs airline to airline, an airline might use different standart weight, and some airlines may or may not differentiate between man/woman passenger. Also there are different methods for bag weigth.

Are you looking for specificaly Ryanair numbers?

Ciao Roberto,

I agree with Fabo: different airlines use different methods...

BTW are you sure about weight limitations for Ryanair? Usually the most of companies B738 has a max takeoff weight of about 79015 kg (174200) lbs and you should consider NGX limits that you can read into aircraft.cfg file i.e. max ramp weight 174700 weight (79.243 kg) empty equipped = 91300 pounds (41.414 kg) and not a generic weight..keep in fact in mind that ngx weight limits are general not depending on which livery you can select...

Bye

Andrea B.

Yep, Ryanair uses a lower certified MTOW so they can get lower fees. Typically 74 990kg, but some planes might be different.

Hi,

In my sheet Exel does not exist a payload of the Company, I will just have to be equal to my account PayLod Panel CDU 737Ngx.

Now have an error-5300Kg between my calculation from the CDU.

After loading the Rynair Liveries I found many things that are inaccurate, and issuing the PMDG Liveries not go well with the actual configuration.

is true 737NG has many configurations, and then the MAXTOW 74990Kg as a parameter varies for each company.

The real problem exists in the PMDG program that does not load the right parameters for each company.

Now I do not know if I can change configuration and weights to optimize Liveries we loaded

Have a Good Day

Roberto.
