October 4, 201213 yr I'm telling you its shade. Before I install Shade I never had a problem with anything, and they claim that it unloads after FSX exits and you can run FSX without it, but I swear to god that program permantely screwed something up. I set the vis to 5mi and I can see a horizon line that is extremely sharp and my clouds "shine" through it and it looks awful. I've tried to put everything back to default and nothing seems to work. October 4, 201213 yr Author Okay yes, that was my question that I probably should have made more clear. I was looking for direction on how to uninstall shade and undo what it had changed. See that's the thing, according to them, you just uninstall it and/or delete the Shade Folder; however, I think it did some permament damage to somthing in my FSX install, because even when I dont run Shade I still have the problem, so Im sorry I cannot help you, Im in the same sinking boat...maybe reinstall FSX?
