Hey Ben,

Re: i2700k

One question - umm - well subject - if you have a moment... What's the deal with the "Turbo 3.9ghz" ??? My Conroe didn't have a "turbo"... Is that like an automatic built in over-clock speed ??? Do i have any additional considerations when dealing with a "turbo" ??? The base speed is really 3.5ghz - right ??? If I'm OC an i2700k - what speed should I be shooting for with a "medium" amount of OC in mind ???

Scott

Turbo mode is basically what the CPU will run at when under load.

If you don't touch any settings in the BIOS, your CPU will run at 1.6GHZ on complete idle and will rev up to 3.5-3.9GHZ depending on load...
