September 21, 201213 yr Thank you Alexis, It is indeed Majestic Software Dash running in the background! The software you can see in my iPad is an EFB project we've had with couple of friends. It's running in any browser, and it is optimized for iPad (as you can see). There will be other aircraft types as well, but the data for Dash is finished in co-operationg with Majestic Software. September 21, 201213 yr Commercial Member NetBooks are cheap, small, portable, run as long as an iPad on batteries, yet are not restricted to the whim of a company as to what you can do with it. I've got all my charts on mine, perf calcs etc.... and no-one gets to say I can't. Best regards, Robin.

That's nice, is it flying by the numbers though? i.e. can you actually takeoff from a hot&high rwy at calculated mtow or abort at just before v1 and stop without overrunning? Engine performance is very difficult to model in FSX..
September 22, 201213 yr Author NetBooks are cheap, small, portable, run as long as an iPad on batteries, yet are not restricted to the whim of a company as to what you can do with it. The ability navigate through the interface touching with your finger is what makes all the difference. There's just no substitute for that. I tried the FMC on the iPad Screen, it's the closest to real feal I have ever gotten in FSX, makes all the difference using your fingers to push those buttons. Alexis Mefano
September 23, 201213 yr I would love to see pmdg do an app for iOS and android that would display the PFD and EFIS on a tablet while you're flying. There's an app for iPad that will display the PFD but it doesn't work with pmdg planes. Add checklists, fuel planner, and derate calculations, you would have one hot selling app! September 23, 201213 yr Author You can do that with your iPad, just buy an app called Air Display. You just drag what you want to your tablet that is functioning like a second monitor. Just undock the Displlays first. But the refresh rate isn't good enough for a PFD, probably because it's using WiFi. But for the FMC and other stuff it's perfect. Alexis Mefano
September 23, 201213 yr I've seen that but I'm leary because I've had bad luck with FPS drops when running multiple displays. Haven't tried it with my nvidia 560 ti though, the last time was with a 250 OC. Dan Schultz REX Latitude BETA Team Member https://rexlatitude.com
