June 30, 200421 yr How well do these work together? I can only imagine a mess but I would like to be proved wrong.Anyone got any screenies?
June 30, 200421 yr georender scenerys ...what kind of animal is that :-hmmmMichael J.http://www.reality-xp.com/community/nr/rsc/rxp-higher.jpg Michael J.
June 30, 200421 yr Some small but wonderfully formed airfields made by Richard Goldstein.Including Ranger Creek, Darrington, Sky Harbour and of course (not official geo) Orcas Island.Check out fsaddon.com and lagoononline.com
June 30, 200421 yr OF course if you only fly heavys then these scenerys will be of little or no interest to you :D
June 30, 200421 yr Actually, Orcas IS official GeoRender. It's just not LAGO. I assume Richard Goldstein must hold the rights to the GeoRender label. As for the question about USA Roads, I don't know since I haven't bought it yet. Maybe someone out there with both can answer.Ken
July 1, 200421 yr Not sure what sort of news are you expecting guys. Airports in FS sit on top of roads so unless your airports are something completely proprietary and violating FS scenery rules and MSFS SDK everything will be fine. Go to USA Roads forum on Flight1 for more info.Michael J.http://www.reality-xp.com/community/nr/rsc/rxp-higher.jpg Michael J.
July 1, 200421 yr Commercial Member Howdy,I don't actually own any of the Georender airfields but since their surroundings are covered with photoreal tiles I wouldn't expect any problems: the USARoads as well as any other (default) vector data will be "buried" by photoreal textures, as they should. Users of the MegaScenery products have reported good matches along the edges, where USARoads meets the photoreal textures. Thus, if anything, USARoads should improve on the match between GeoRender areas and the surrounding scenery.Cheers, Holger
July 1, 200421 yr Hi Sikpupi,I own several of Richard's products and just recently also purchased US Roads.Although I can't be 100% certain, I certainly didn't notice any conflict at Diamond Point, Orcas or Sky Habour. I wasn't specifically looking though.I'm relatively certain Richard has managed to disable the display of Hydrography and Tranport layers around his aerial photo ground textures.Cheers,-Todd

Todd IngallsMember of [link:www.grid.org/services/teams/team.htm?id=5E79C613-0A60-4A3B-BDC1-F9EE49F2D4FE]Join the AVSIM Team Fight Against Cancer!]
[/table.
July 1, 200421 yr This is a bit of an aside, but is it possible at Orcas Island to remove the silly looking jumping whales? Thats the only thing that keeps me from buying that. I have all the rest of the Georender series but the whales look...really dumb to me.Eric AND
July 1, 200421 yr You are right. As far as I have seen the new roads do not fit anymore to the painted roads of Georender. The painted ground tiles of Georender aligne only perfectly with the default roads.
July 1, 200421 yr I have all of the GeoRender series as well as Emma and Orcas and, from what I have seen, USA Roads works fine with all of them.Eric, your question about the jumping whales would best be asked at the FSAddOn Forums (http://forums.simflight.com/viewforum.php?f=88). I will say that the movement of objects in the Geo series is part of the lure for most simmers. It's not like the whale is constantly jumping either. In all of my flights around Orcas I may have only seen it two or three times. But as they say... to each his own.
