September 22, 201213 yr Hello, On FSX, I wanted to play another game so I could pass by the time on my international flights, so I unchecked the box saying, "pause on task switch." After I did that, I found out that I can't hear FSX's sound when I alt+tab out of it. I was wondering how can I hear FSX's sound while I play another game?
September 22, 201213 yr No, I don't believe there's a way. Alt+tabbing is buggy in FSX anyway. I always Alt+Enter to put it in window mode instead, but even in Window mode, once you make any other window active, you lose the sounds from FSX. You still fly, and can see yourself flying if you leave part of that window visible.
